Municipal hazardous and special waste includes products with any of the following warnings on the label:

Tay Valley is committed to divert as much hazardous waste from the landfills as possible. By disposing of these materials properly, residents are helping to protect our environment.

Middleville Hazardous Waste Depot
Directions from Perth: Take Hwy #511 to Lanark Village. Stay on Hwy #511 (approx. 10 km) to Hopetown. Turn right onto County Road 16 (Wolf Grove Road). The waste site is located on the left hand side of the road just after the bridge and entrance has a green metal fence.

To access this facility you are required to show identification showing your Tay Valley address. Waste items must be identifiable and in a sealed container or package. This facility cannot bulk flammable or highly vaporous liquids - therefore containers holding these liquids will not be returned (for example, gasoline containers containing gasoline are accepted, but the container will not be returned to you).
