Clear Garbage Bags and Bag Tag Information Sheet
Household Waste includes waste generated from a Residential Dwelling, but does not include Compostable and Recyclable Waste.
- No Tipping Fees
- Accepted at all Waste Sites
There is one active landfill site in Tay Valley Township located at Glen Tay, and two transfer stations - one at Stanleyville and one at Maberly - where household waste and recyclables are collected but not landfilled on site (See Site Locations and Hours of Operation).
In order to access the Waste Sites you need a Waste Disposal Site Card. The card is good for as long as you own property in Tay Valley Township, and must be available for presentation each and every time you go to the waste sites. Waste Disposal Site Cards are available from the Township office.
All garbage must be bagged and may be checked by the Waste Site Attendants.
You are permitted to dispose of one bag of garbage with one container of recyclables without using a Bag Tag.
Garbage bags are to be placed in the compactors at each site.
