Electronic waste includes, but is not limited to, amplifiers, audio and video players and recorders, cameras, cell phones, computers (desktop and laptop) and peripherals, copiers, fax machines, monitors, pagers and PDAs, printers, radios, receivers, scanners, speakers, telephones and answering machines, tuners, turntables, televisions and video projectors.

The Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) Program is an Ontario Electronic Stewardship Program, designed to divert electronic and electrical waste from landfills. The plan requires brand owners, first importers, franchisors and assemblers to pay for the recycling and/or reuse of all used electrical and electronic equipment in Ontario.
