Tree Here Now: Raising Our Tree Consciousness

Our Perth Trees presents a talk by Robert Cretien, arborist and former supervisor of the Dominion Arboretum, Ottawa.

A first step for experiencing the joy of tree watching is to become familiar with common tree traits such as the leaves, flowers, cones, fruit, buds, scars, bark and twig structure. Tree viewing can be as exciting as bird watching! Understanding the basics of tree identification will inform your tree observation.
