TRUCK DRIVER/OPERATOR

Tay Valley Township is seeking a casual part-time Truck Driver/Operator. Reporting to the Public Works Manager, the Truck Driver/Operator will be responsible for the operation of all light equipment such as trucks and backhoes as required to fulfill assigned duties.  The Truck Driver/Operator will maintain roads in accordance with established standards, identify road related problems, conduct daily inspections and maintain equipment in a safe operating condition, perform general building and facility maintenance, respond to emergency situations, among other public works related duties on an as needed basis.  Qualified candidates are invited to submit a covering letter and resume clearly marked “Casual Part-Time Truck Driver/Operator” prior to 9:00 a.m. September 13th, 2024.
