OMSPA Summer Tour July 19^th - 23^rd, 2023

The leaders of the Ontario Maple Industry gather each year in a different area of the province for a convention style trade show, tour, and annual general meeting.   The Lanark & District Producers will be hosting this year’s event in Perth from July 19-22.  This is a big event for our local district since it only comes to our area about every ten years.    It promises to show innovative and best practices in the maple industry, explore how linkages can be developed within the rural economy, hear from the leaders in the industry and technical experts on critical issues within the maple sector.

The 3-day event is comprised of two days of site tours to local maple operations in Lanark County and Leeds & Grenville and a packed day of speaker presentations to be held at the Algonquin College Perth campus. Details can be found on the conference website at https://www.omspasummertour.ca
