(LANARK COUNTY, ON) – Between Monday, June14, 2021 and Monday, June 21, 2021 officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 359 calls for service. The calls included:

One fatal collision involving a motorcycle
Domestic Incidents
On June 14, 2021 a 42 year old resident of Havelock Township was charged with five counts of spousal assault, two counts of assault with a weapon and one count of assault causing bodily harm as the result of a historical domestic investigation. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on July 19, 2021.
On June 18, 2021 a 36 year old resident of the Town of Carleton Place was charged with four counts of spousal assault, two counts of assault causing bodily harm and one count of uttering threats as the result of a historical domestic investigation. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
The Lanark County OPP investigated 1 non-criminal domestic dispute during this week.
Thefts
Officers of the Lanark County OPP investigated 11 theft complaints during the past week.
Frauds
The Lanark County OPP received 3 reports of fraud this week.
