Tay Valley Township is seeking two casual Waste Disposal Site Attendants. Reporting to the Public Works Manager, the Waste Disposal Site Attendant will be responsible for the operation and supervision of waste disposal activities at one of the Township’s Waste Disposal Sites. As the preferred candidate you will have exceptional customer service skills and have a solid understanding of safety rules and the use of personal protective equipment. The successful candidate will have working experience in a related area, be able to work with minimal supervision, and be willing to participate in training. Demonstrated experience working with the public is a requirement. You must possess excellent communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, and a proficiency in English, written and spoken. A Class G driver’s license is a requirement. Possession of a Class D driver’s license with a “Z” endorsement is considered an asset.
The wage range is $24.35 to $27.06 per hour (based on 2021 rates) per hour. A comprehensive benefit package is available to all employees.
