The Township offers a monthly Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP) for your taxes.
A withdrawal comes out of your bank account automatically on the 15th of every month. There are no charges or fees to set this up.
Starting every November, and ending in October, the Township will calculate your monthly amount based on your previous year’s taxes and divide it by 12 months. A letter will be sent in October notifying you of your monthly payment. This will be your monthly amount for the first 9 months (November to July). Then once the final tax bills are calculated a revised amount will be provided to you in a letter and this will be your payment for the remaining 3 months of August, September, and October.
Want to sign up but it is not October – you can sign up all year round, you just have to be in good standing with the Township (i.e. your taxes are up to date) and then Township staff will revise and update you on what the monthly amount will be depending on what time of the year it is.
