As the Province furthers its reopening plan the Health Unit would like to remind businesses inspected by the Health Unit to ensure the following prior to reopening:
- Premises has been cleaned and sanitized;
- Equipment is working properly;
- Signage is posted i.e., Passive screening signs, distancing signs, hand washing, hand sanitizing, capacity limits, mask requirement etc;
- Safety plan has been prepared, all staff are trained...

Reeve Brian Campbell congratulates Noah Frazer on being this year’s recipient of the Tay Valley History Scholarship. Noah received a cheque in the amount of $1,000 and a copy of the legacy book At Home in Tay Valley.

Lanark County is encouraging local businesses and residents to voluntarily participate in a single-use plastic straw and bag ban starting July 1.
