Rideau Canal - Water Level Management Update – April 12, 2024

Parks Canada's water management team continues to actively monitor water levels, flows, and weather forecasts across the Rideau Canal National Historic Site of Canada. These factors are used to determine dam operations on a daily basis for the Rideau Canal National Historic Site of Canada.

Fire Ban Update: April 11th, 2024
The Fire Ban has been lifted for Drummond/North Elmsley Township and Tay Valley Township.
There are still some areas in our Townships that are dry. Do not burn in areas with long dead grass, do not burn on windy days and never leave a fire unattended. Always have a water source available to extinguish the fire.
A burn permit is required for all open air fires.

Storytime introduces your child to books, rhymes and rhythm, music and song, play, crafts, taking turns, paying attention, and being in a group. This is a welcoming program to meet parents and caregivers. This program is best suited for children ages 0-5 years old. Join Heidi the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10:30am for an hour of connection and play.
