Registration Open for Tay Valley Tai Chi 2025!

Tay Valley is proud to be partnering with Jeela Jones, again in 2025. Tai Chi is a practice that involves a series of slow gentle movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing. Tai Chi originated as an ancient martial art in China. Over the years, it has become more focused on health promotion and rehabilitation.

Join Jeela from Black Raven Tai Chi once a month to Learn and Refresh Your Practice! Registration is $20 and includes all four classes.

Tay Valley Township Yoga at Maberly Community Hall - 180 Maberly Elphin Road

Join us for our Yoga Class, a welcoming and inclusive environment perfect for beginners and those looking to deepen their practice. Please bring your mat, water bottle and wear comfy clothes.

Registration fee of $30 ($5 a class)

Daytime Session
11 a.m. - 12 Noon
Every Friday starting January 10th and ending February 14th, 2025 

Evening Session
6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Every Wednesday starting January 8th and ending February 12th, 2025

2024 Tay Valley Municipal Office and Waste Sites Holiday Hours

HOLIDAY HOURS - MUNICIPAL OFFICE

The Municipal Office will be CLOSED from December 23rd until December 29th and will re-open December 30th from 8:30am until 4pm, December 31st from 8:30am until 12pm and CLOSED on January 1st, 2025 - reopening to regular business hours on January 2nd, 2025 from 8:30am until 4pm. 

Reminder - There will be no water testing drop offs during this time.

NOTICE – CHANGES TO BLUE BOX PROGRAM STARTING JANUARY 1, 2025

Tay Valley Township will transition to the new Blue Box Regulation on January 1st, 2025.  Blue Box Materials will now be collected in 2-streams, rather then the current 5-stream.
