Please be advised that Christie Lake North Shore Road will be closed from Christie Lake Lane 42 to North Mac Road, Wednesday, July 19th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while CP Rail completes repairs to the train track.

Tay Valley Township is pleased to launch a Business Recognition Program as part of its 25th Anniversary celebrations. Businesses that have been operating in the Township for at least 25 years (as of 2023) are eligible for this designation. Approved business owners will receive an official certificate recognizing the award and, optionally, a sign.
Hard copy forms are available at the Municipal Office.

Tay Valley Township is re-launching its Legacy Farms Program as part of its 25th Anniversary celebrations!
Farms in the Township that have been in the same family for 100, 150 or 200 years (as of the date of application) are eligible for legacy farm designation. Approved legacy farm owners will receive an official certificate recognizing the award and, optionally, a sign.

July 11, 2023 – Following a period of dry and hot weather, the Rideau Valley Low Water Response Team is declaring a MINOR low water status for the Tay River and Rideau Lakes watersheds (referred to as Upper Rideau Valley watershed), after officials met to discuss current watershed conditions on Monday, July 10, 2023.
