Card and Tags
To access any of the three sites, residents require a “Waste Site Card”. This card is available at the Township Office (located at 217 Harper Road), and is good for as long as you own your property, and must be available for presentation each time you visit the waste site.
Each household receives 40 bag tags each year. Additional tags are available for purchase at the Township Office for $1.00 each.
E-Waste
Tay Valley Township recycles E-Waste. Bring your old computers, televisions and more to the waste sites and we’ll see that they are disposed of in the safest and most environmentally-friendly way! Some fees may apply.
For a full list of recyclable materials, please see the Ontario Electronics Stewardship website. Tay Valley accepts materials listed under both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of this program.
