Township Council appoints township residents and councillors to committees and boards which oversee a range of township-related services.For instance, Tay Valley collaborates with Drummond/North Elmsley (DNE) to provide fire services.The Perth Library Board includes a Tay Valley Township representative.
Township Council has also established two advisory committees to provide feedback and assist with waste management and recreation programs.
